    PC Absolon has continued to focus on tackling antisocial behaviour in the area throughout the summer. The warmer weather, seasonal visitors and local events brought increased activity to the town, and PC Absolon worked closely with partner agencies to help keep people safe and reduce disruption to residents and businesses. As part of this work, PC Absolon carried out targeted patrols and early intervention activity to address concerns raised by the community. This included confiscating alcohol from people under the legal drinking age and taking action against individuals whose behaviour was causing nuisance, alarm or distress to others. These proactive measures helped reduce reports of antisocial behaviour towards the end of the summer. PC Absolon remains committed to working with local communities and partner organisations to address antisocial behaviour and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

    PC Absolon has continued to focus on reducing antisocial behaviour in the area throughout the summer. Warmer weather, increased visitor numbers and local events brought more activity to the town, and PC Absolon carried out targeted patrols to help keep people safe and minimise disruption to residents and businesses. As part of this work, alcohol was confiscated from people under the legal drinking age, and dispersal powers were used where necessary. A dispersal power allows police to require someone to leave an area for a set period of time if their behaviour is causing or is likely to cause harassment, alarm, distress or disorder. Early intervention and proactive patrols helped address many of the concerns raised by the community.

    By the end of August, reports of antisocial behaviour had reduced, reflecting the positive impact of the work carried out over the summer months. PC Absolon remains committed to working with local residents and partner agencies to address community concerns, prevent antisocial behaviour and help ensure the area remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Warmer weather and seasonal events brought more visitors to the town, creating additional demands on local policing. PC Absolon carried out targeted patrols at key locations and events to help keep people safe and reduce disruption to residents and businesses.

    As part of this work, alcohol was confiscated from people under the legal drinking age, and dispersal powers were used where necessary to deal with behaviour that was causing nuisance, alarm or distress to others. A dispersal power allows police to require someone to leave an area for a set period of time if their behaviour is having a negative impact on the community.
