About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    Reports have been received about youths causing Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) on motorbikes and electric bikes riding dangerously outside the local shops on Orchard Park Road and around the Orchard Park Estate in general.

    Action taken:

    Neighbourhood officers have been conducting hi visibility patrols in and around the area in an effort to identify the youths responsible.

    Police surgeries are held regularly where residents are encouraged to report any issues. Any youths found to be causing ASB will be dealt with and referred to partner agencies.

    UPDATE 1st June 2026 – Neighbourhood officers have been working closely with Operation Yellowfin around nuisance motorbikes in and around the estate. Information from members of the public and other agencies have resulted in several days of action were e-scooters and several stolen motorbikes have been recovered. Days of action will continue in the coming months and Neighbourhood officers are able to utilise Police Drones to gather intelligence around the locations of these motorbikes.

    Clear Hold Build

    Action taken:

    In the heart of our communities, as a part of a multi-agency led initiative we have launched the home office programme Clear, Hold, Build to tackle organised crime head on whilst helping to regenerate the community on Orchard Park.

    Youth Engagement to continue on the estate over the summer holidays. Following on from successful events held on the MUGAs at Sir Henry Cooper Park, further events are being planned with Tigers Trust.
