About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

  • Priority:

ASB Driffield TOWN – Raised by Driffield Town Council

    Issued 05 June 2026

    Action taken:

Work has continued to identify youths responsible to ASB. Proactive high-visibility patrols have been utilised and as a result a number of individuals will soon receive ABC's (Acceptable Behaviour Contracts) or Fairway letters. In conjunction with ERYC our enquiries continue. This priority will continue over the summer months.

  • Priority:

Disruption of Drug activity – Ongoing core priority

    Issued 05 June 2026

    Action taken:

We continue to review and act on drugs intelligence. For operational and data protection reasons we are unable to give specific details of locations / premises or persons that we are currently investigating. We have been working with other agencies to tackle individuals of concern linked to drug misuse.

We ask that you report any concerns around drugs misuse that you have. You may have information that adds to an ongoing concern, and this can really help when we apply for Warrants. You can speak to us at any Police Station in confidence or alternatively report anonymously via ‘CrimeStoppers’ at https://crimestoppers-uk.org/
