About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    We did:
    • We conducted a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in Falmouth Court.
    • A man was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal damage for ASB and crime in Century Close.
    • We issued a teenager with a Community Protection Warning. Following non-compliance with the warning, he was issued a Community Protection Notice. If he breaches this, he could be arrested.
    • We increased high-visibility and plain-clothed patrols at various times.
    • We continue to work with hospital operations, security management, and Hightown Housing Association. We will support any evictions of individuals intent on causing anti-social behaviour.

    We did:
    • We increased high-visibility and plain-clothed patrols.
    • We issued a teenager with a Community Protection Warning.
    • We have been working with Hightown Housing Association, who are looking to install CCTV in the area.
    • We conducted joint operations with British Transport Police (BTP) and railway enforcement officers in the area surrounding the train station. Train station security now regularly patrol Charrington Place multi-storey car park.
    • We visited every address in Davy House and Ellis House to speak to residents and conducted a survey about their issues.
