About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Nuisance motorbikes

    Issued 29 January 2026

    Action taken:

To identify those riding illegally in the community, we check CCTV within the area and we also run regular dedicated patrols which are designed specifically to target such offences.
When we identify addresses where vehicles are stored, we visit them and where possible seize the motorbike or electric bike and we prosecute the rider for any offences we can prove.

    Actioned 29 January 2026

  • Priority:

    Antisocial behaviour (ASB)

    Issued 29 January 2026

    Action taken:

Each report of ASB has been investigated robustly so that those who are responsible are quickly identified and dealt with appropriately. To achieve this, local officers actively engage with residents and businesses, complete house to house enquiries and check both private and council-operated CCTV. We also work closely with local schools and parents, issuing AS13s where appropriate.
We conduct regular foot and car patrols throughout the ward to deter further incidents and to provide reassurance to residents.

    Actioned 29 January 2026

  • Priority:

    Nuisance motorbikes

    Issued 26 May 2026

    Action taken:

To identify those riding illegally in the community, we check CCTV within the area, and we also run regular dedicated patrols which are designed specifically to target such offences.

I have continued to work with members of the public and housing providers to identify addresses where vehicles are being stored, visit them and seize the motorbike or electric bike and prosecute the rider for any offences we can prove, resulting in the removal of 1 bike which was found in the communal area of shared accommodation.

Officers will continue to take robust action in relation to nuisance vehicles.

    Actioned 26 May 2026

  • Priority:

    Anti-social behaviour

    Issued 26 May 2026

    Action taken:

All reports of ASB reported to police have been investigated robustly so that those who are responsible are quickly identified and dealt with appropriately.
To achieve this I engage with residents and businesses and housing providers along with completing house to house enquiries and checking CCTV.

We also work closely with local schools and parents and issue AS13s where possible.

We conduct regular foot and mobile patrols throughout the ward to deter further incidents and to provide reassurance to residents. We will conduct patrols according to the reports of any ASB and take positive action.

    Actioned 26 May 2026
