    Disrupting Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) linked to retail shops and mini-marts within the area.

    High-visibility patrols are being conducted, with officers engaging with retailers to address concerns and reduce the negative impact on the community through the use of ASB legislation, powers, and injunctions.

  • Priority:

    Traffic congestion and risk to children posed by inconsiderate drivers parking carelessly or inconsiderately around Air Balloon Hill and Two Mile Hill Primary Schools remains a problem for local residents and the schools.

    Action taken:

    Patrols are being conducted at Air Balloon Hill and Two Mile Hill Primary Schools to address parking issues during drop-off and collection times. Inconsiderate and unlawful parking in these periods can place children at risk, and is being addressed through a combination of engagement, education, and enforcement measures.
    The Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to monitor this issue and take appropriate action.

    Targeting prolific shoplifters in local shops such as Tesco Bell Hill Road and Co-op Two Mile Hill Road. Regular patrols of the shops are continuing and shoplifters are being dealt with accordingly.

    Targeting prolific shoplifters operating within local retail premises, including Tesco on Bell Hill Road and the Co-op on Two Mile Hill Road. Regular high-visibility patrols are being maintained, and offenders identified for shoplifting offences will be dealt with robustly.
    The Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to monitor this issue and take appropriate action.

    Increasing reports of anti social behaviour on Rodney Road and surrounding area at school finish times. Regular patrols are being conducted, and any persons caught behaving in a manner which causes or is likely to cause alarm, harassment or distress will be dealt with accordingly.
