    Drug related activity taking place at New Hall Street, Lister Street, Stafford Street Walkway, Bell Alley Villers Street, and Stroud Avenue.

    Action taken:

    April 2026 Update:
    Whilst officers were out on patrol they came across a potential drug deal, one male made off on a bike the other male was stop searched, he was found with a considerable amount of money. No drugs were found. Officers will continue to patrol hotspot areas.

    May 2026 Update:
    Officers have continued to patrol New Hall Street no further reports of drug dealing. Further reports of drug dealing in Gipsy lane and Orchard Road/Close. Intelligence has been submitted and officers will continue to patrol the area.

    June 2026 Update:
    Reports of drug dealing around Stroud Avenue, a vehicle has been identified and officer will continue to patrol.
    A cannabis cultivation sight has been discovered, the drugs were seized and destroyed. Officers have arrested offenders for possession of Class A drugs.

    July 2026 Update
    Further reports of drug dealing taking place in Orchard Close, Gipsy lane, Birmingham Street and Stroud Avenue. Intelligence has been submitted and officers will continue to patrol and take positives action.

    You Said We Did

    Over the last few months, we have worked to address the concerns raised from residents.
    We have managed to seize several bikes during this time including bikes from Willenhall Memorial Park and Willenhall Town Centre. In addition to this we worked with our partners from whg and served an order of possession of property suspended for 2 years. The address was reported for off road bikes.

    We will continue to monitor the area and will take positive action when necessary

    Speeding on Lucknow Road and surrounding area.

    Earlier in the year residents reported concerns regarding speeding in and around the Lucknow Road and Pooles Lane area. Having recieved some external funding from Walsall Council the team were provided with equipment which has enabled them to carry out a number of speedwatch operations in this and other areas identified over the last few months. Whilst no vehicles were identified as driving in excess of the speed limit. The team will continue to monitor and will act of any future concerns.

    Action taken:

    Following reports from residents regarding incidents of ASB in Gough Street and surrounding area we are now working with our partners to tackle this issue. We have already arranged for three CCTV cameras to be installed in the area and will be taking poisitive action against individuals causing a nuidance or committing a crime. Updates on what we have done will be posted on this page.

    Street Drinking in Willenhall Town Centre

    We have created a ASB non crime as we have had issues of a group of adults drinking on a bench in the Willenhall Town Centre.

    Action taken:

    Following reports of groups drinking alcohol and causing issues in Willenhall Town Centre, the team are now focusing on tackling this issue and will be carrying out increased patrols in the area and will be taking positive action against anyone causing a nuisance.
