About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

St Peter’s and Park: Street Sex Work, Drugs and Serious Youth Violence.

    Issued 01 May 2026

    Action taken:

We continue to be aware of ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour in and around Staveley Road and other areas within the community. We want to reassure residents that we are taking this matter seriously.

Our team continues to conduct high-visibility patrols in known hot spot areas to deter incidents and provide visible reassurance to the public.

In response to persistent offenders, we are using civil enforcement measures where appropriate.
We are working closely with key partners including the Local Authority, the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Intervention Team, and Environmental Services to develop sustainable, long-term solutions. Where necessary, we will also support the use of tenancy enforcement actions.

Our Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) will maintain a strong and visible presence in the community. They have arranged a series of community drop-in sessions, offering residents the opportunity to meet the team, raise concerns, and help shape local policing priorities. Please check our events for planned meetings where you can come along and talk to us.

We have completed a recent S23 Misuse of Drugs warrant in PARK and recovered a number of items from this. We have also taken action against the tenant.

If you have any information, please get in touch or contact your local dedicated neighbourhood officers PC Steve Finazzi and PC Tom Dawson.

    Actioned 01 June 2026

  • Priority:

Graiseley: we are still awaiting our next meeting with the public where we will agree with attendees what our focus will be in the coming months. The issues we will focus on in the interim are:

ASB - in the guise of parking, litter, noise nuisance and matters alike.

Drugs - take robust action on those dealing, exploiting and using in our community.

We will continue to work with partners, WV homes, environmental health and trading standards to ensure we have a joined up approach in order to get the right results for the community of Graiseley.

    Issued 01 May 2026

    Action taken:

    - Increased patrols in locations linked to ASB and drug use.

    - We have liaised with local businesses around Owen Road to help encourage better parking for the betterment of all. We have also liaised with the local MPs office for this.

    - Open space patrols of Bantock Park

    - Contact details of dedicated neighbourhood officer PC Shannon JENKINS have been shared amongst the network.

    Actioned 01 June 2026

  • Priority:

St Peters and Park - serious violence will continue to be our focus in the area. We understand that due in part to the forthcoming elections we are yet to have a meeting with the community. As soon as that happens we can understand what the next steps will be from your perspective.

    Issued 01 May 2026

    Action taken:

We have continued to increase our visibility and are changing the way that we patrol the area. I hope that you have noticed this and know that we are committed to not just reacting to crime but deterring it also.

We continue to rely on your intelligence so please ensure you speak to us in person if you see us or via email/101.

Theft from motor vehicle is a high priority for us at this present time and we have a dedicated patrol plan to assist us with this. Ensure you report any suspicious activity and we can work to deal with the suspects quickly and efficiently.

Your Designated Neighbourhood Officers (DNO) are currently –
    PC FINAZZI (St Peters)
    PC DAWSON (Park)
