About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    ASB & Parking Concerns - Caldmore Road, Caldmore Green, and surrounding Streets.

    Issued 15 June 2026

    Action taken:

    Concerns have been raised from local residents and businesses in the Caldmore Green and Caldmore Road area regarding inappropriate parking and ASB in the community

    April update:
    Officers continue to patrol the area and speak to drivers about parking on double yellow lines and more, so drivers have been warned about parking on zig zag lines as this pose a danger. Officers will continue to monitor the area and will be conducting joint patrols with civil enforcement officers. Officers also conducted a drugs warrant at an address where drug dealing was taking place and ASB issues.

    June update:
    Officers are still patrolling Caldmore Green, handing out tickets and moving on people who are parking illegally. More public engagement and continuation of engagement has helped to tackle ASB concerns in Caldmore Green. There is still a high visibility of presence in and around that area.

    July update:
    Officers continue to conduct high visibility patrols around Caldmore Road and Caldmore Green and giving advice and ticketing people who are parked illegally.
    Officers are working jointly with Walsall council community protection and have patrolled the area together. More joints patrols will be conducted.

  • Priority:

    Speeding vehicles in Walsall Town Centre during daytime, evening and late evening time hours.

    Issued 15 June 2026

    Action taken:

    Concerns have been raised from members of the public using Walsall Town Centre about vehicles being driven at high speed where there is a high footfall of pedestrians.
    Operation conducted:
    8 vehicles captured during the operation.

    2 vehicles didn’t stop, due to other traffic and likely confused drivers.
    5 stopped for speeding ranging from 34-40 mph
    1 stopped for a due care offence, overtaking on the brow of the hill.

    June update:
    Speedwatches are still being conducted in the hotspot areas where speeding mostly occurs. High- vis patrols are being conducted and spreading awareness of speeding. Cars are recieving warning letters for the vehicles that are caught speeding. Awareness is also spread through our speedwatcch volunteers who engage with their local area when on duty.

    July update:
    Officers are continuing to conduct high visibility patrols around the town centre and report drivers for driving offences and have seized vehicles for no insurance.
    Joint operations will be conducted tackling the issues.

    On Butts Street and surrounding Streets ASB issues and drug dealing

    Issued 15 June 2026

    Action taken:

    Reports of drug dealing at no specified time particularly near to The Walsall Dance Academy on Butts Street including Warwick Street and Upper Forster Street . Also general ASB and fly tipping taking place.

    April update:

    St Matthew's NHT Officers on patrol within this area detained a suspect who was potentially dealing from a car as after a search Class A drugs were found.

    June Update:
    Officers are patrolling the streets of the Butts area tackling the ASB issues. Officers have also conducted bike patrols in and around the area of Butts and have engaged with the local residents of that area. Officers have responded to drug related incidents that occur in the Butts area and are carrying out stop and searches in search of drug related items.

    July Update:
    Officers continue to carry out high visibility patrols in the area and have carried out stop searches
    Officers have also conducted bike patrols in and around the area of Butts and have engaged with the local residents of that area.

    A cuppa with a Copper will be held on 23rd July 2026 at 16:30 hours at Creative Factory, Butts Road, Walsall to discuss any ASB issues in the area.
