    Horton Square- recent closure orders, begging, drug dealing to homeless.

    The team have regularly provided high visibility patrols within the Horton Square area, interacting with the local community and proactively engaging with local businesses to reduce crime. Some of this work has included business visits that have resulted in closure orders and improvements.

    Retail Crime around St Andrews Retail Park, Small Heath. Tackling ongoing retail crime, anti-social behaviour and aggressive begging in and around the footprint of St Andrews Retail Park, Small Heath.

    To date, the team have been involved in the positive prosecution of prolific offenders, issued an number of Community Protection Warnings against prolific offenders and successfully obtained a Criminal Behaviour Order against one such individual.

    PCs and PCSOs from the Small Heath and Highgate team have been actively patrolling the area in attempts to identify persons in possession of controlled drugs. In doing so officers have been pro active in their approach in attempting to identify and deal with offenders committing offences in this location with positive outcomes. Patrols are conducted regularly in order to prevent further offending and to reduce Anti Social Behaviour
