    Issued 06 May 2026

    Action taken:

Local Officers work closely with the Northfield Business Improvement District (BID) to address instances of shop theft and associated anti social behaviour along Northfield high street by providing high visibility patrols of the area and working with retailers to identify prolific offenders, effecting their arrest and utilising powers to ban them from the area.
Update: The team are increasing patrols in the key areas on the High Street and around the High Street where drug offences and concerns have been reported. Sgt Livesey is leading on Operation Wayfarer which is addressing these concerns. A number of arrests have been made and a PSPO being considered by partners for long term intervention.
