About us

    Local residents and commuters around Cradley and Wollescote have told us about issues related to anti-social behaviour and off road bikes.

    Action taken:

    We have put in place a dedicated patrol plan for the area to ensure that we have officers in the area at the right time of day. We have issued several Anti social behaviour warning notices and Section 59 notices in relation to off road bikes. As part of a longer-term solution we are also working with the Dudley Council to combat anti-social behaviour. We are also conducting Off Road Bike Operations through the summer period when the activity increases

    Businesses and shoppers have told us that they are concerned about shoplifting and business crime in Halesowen area.

    Action taken:

    We are continuing to work alongside our partners and local business around Halesowen to deter shoplifting offences. This includes close partnership work with security staff and shop workers, targeted patrols by our local officers and crime reduction advice and support.

    We have recently received information from concerned residents around Escooters being used around the Cradley and Wollescote area.

    The team are conducting regular patrols around the area to identify those who are using the escooters on the roads, to date we have recovered 4 Escooters from local youths.We have Off Road Bike Operations organised throughout the summer period when the activity increases.
