About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    There has been an increase of Anti-Social Behaviour in the tower blocks in Erdington the main issues are at Cranleigh House. Pinewood flats Bromford close and Alnwick house Jarvis Road

    Action taken:

    We are continuing to work with local partner agencies including Birmingham City Council to address repeat anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues in the area. We are also using enforcement actions such Community Protection Warnings and ASB Conduct letters on prolific offenders where appropriate.

    There has been an Increased of ASB from street drinkers around the High Street, Drug dealing taking place. and a spike in shoplifting around Erdington High Street

    We are continuing to work with local partner agencies including Birmingham City Council to address repeat anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues in the area. We are also using enforcement actions such Public Space Protection Orders (PSPO) on prolific offenders where appropriate.

    The road is subject to 20mph however local residents have raised concerns of speeding.

    Residents have also raised concerns of parking issues due to the local school

    Action taken:

    We will conduct a speed checks at the location. We have recently created a community Speed watch with local residents.

    A letter has been given to the school so that this can be sent to parents advising them of parking correctly. We will work in partnership with the council enforcement team and patrol the location when we are able to.
