About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Conduct surveys to identify areas of focus / concern.
    Provide advice and reassurance by police engagement in key locations
    Ensure police are visible in the area's identified as having a speeding issue
    We will gather speeding data and use a speeding devise to provide enforcement to those breaking the speed limit

    Deal with individuals robustly that are causing an nuisance or committing offences by making use of available legislation to divert offenders from offending and to prevent harm.
    Conduct joint patrols with other agencies/ partners to support engagement, reassurance and to review options to tackle issues.
    More visibility in the area of concerns.
    Utilise social media platforms to share information and good news stories
    Conduct community engagements in the area to share information and so concerns can be raised.
