Policing priorities

  • Priority:

  • Priority:

Anti-Social behaviour around Wendover and surrounding areas including Wendover wood has been voted again as a priority in the May 2026 community survey.

    Issued 08 June 2026

    Action taken:

The neighbourhood team are working to reduce instances of ASB. We previously saw an increase in Wendover woods with motor bikes, causing damage and noise in the woods, this will be reviewed to see if still an issue, especially with warmer days/evenings ahead. We are conducting hi visibility patrols in the area and have ongoing partnership working with parish councils and local residents and businesses to identify offenders and take robust action. .
June update: 6 recorded cases of ASB in May 26, a decrease on previous month.
July update: 9 recorded instances of ASB in June a 50% increase on previous month. Unfortunately the warmer weather usually sees an increase in ASB behaviour.
Review to be completed quarterly in conjunction with community survey to ascertain if issues are still persistent and a concern for the community. Actions are reviewed 30th monthly to ensure progress.
if you have any information please report on 101 or online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 if crime in progress or you are at risk of harm.
