    ASB

    Around the Marlow area ASB has been Highlighted by the community as a priority. Results are derived from the ASB toolkit. In Marlow from showed there were 265 reported incidents in the last 12 months. Up from the previous year which recorded 184 incidences of ASB.
    This is a increase of 44%.
    In South West Rural 114 up from 88 and a 30% increase

    124 of the 265 reported incidents were recorded as community ASB; Compared to 24 personal ASB and 0 Environmental.

    Action taken:

    The team have been dealing with youth anti-social behaviour in green spaces and parks in the area as well as various residential areas around marlow. This includes underage alcohol consumption and vaping, cannabis use and other disturbances such as unpleasant noise and littering. This has been occurring prominently at the ‘The Donkey Field’ off Wiltshire Road and Wallace Close / Eliot Drive play areas. Increased patrols around the area continue, the team will continue to engage with the youths and parents and will be proceeding with formal action if the behaviour does not cease.

    There has also been a noticed increase in the presence of off-road dirtbikes driving dangerously on roads, particularly in the Bourne End, Stokenchurch and Lane End areas. The teams have carried out increased patrols with the aim to disrupt the dangerous driving, they have also appealed to the public for information and help to identify riders. If you see bikes not displaying numberplates, this means they should not be on the road or a public place, please report via 101 or 999 depending on the urgency and danger posed.

    The residents of Marlow have raised concerns over speeding in the area, as a result the local neighbourhood team have began to plan periodic speed enforcement to tackle the issue

    Action taken:

    The team continue to take feedback from both residents and the council on what roads have the most prominent issues of speeding. They will also endeavour to update the public on any results gained from speeding operations and speed surveys. Days of actions are currently in the process of being planned.

    Burglary Dwellings around Marlow NHPT have been regarded as a priority by the community. This was highlighted from community survey completed by the public.

    In the last rolling 12-month period there have been 28 reported burglaries for the period compared to 26 in the previous period.

    Burglaries will be recorded monthly and will be recorded against the previous month.

    Over the winter months the Marlow NHPT have seen an increase in burglaries around rural areas such as Chalkpit Lane, Seymour Plain, Spinfield lane (4), Holtspur Lane.

    Lodge Farm Bockmer Lane S - To deter and reduce burglary.
    M – To compare previous report numbers to those numbers moving forward.
    A – Actions to include monthly Have Your Say events to deliver crime prevention advice to target harden. These events will be advertised online. Patrols to be conducted around hotspot areas on late shifts. Cocooning to be completed in and around targeted addresses.
    R – Reduce burglary dwelling.
    T – This priority will be reviewed 30th monthly and actions reassessed to ensure progress is being made and that it is still a priority to the community.

    Action taken:

    Monthly “Have your say” events continue to be conducted in locations around Princes Risborough, the focus of these events is not only to listen to local concerns but also to offer crime prevention advice to residents. Advising people on how they can make their homes unattractive prospects for burglars will play a large part in reducing and preventing burglary. Nighttime and evening patrols in hotspot and rural locations continue to take place with the aim to detect and deter burglary and any other offending.
