About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

ASB - Aggressive begging on Farnham Road

    Issued 05 May 2026

    Action taken:

A recent review of local incidents and officer observations indicates a developing trend of aggressive begging along Farnham Road. This behaviour is characterised by persistent requests for money, close proximity to passers-by, and, in some instances, verbal intimidation when requests are refused. The activity appears concentrated around high footfall areas and peak travel times, increasing the risk of public alarm and undermining community confidence. Continued monitoring, engagement with partner agencies, and proportionate enforcement options should be considered to address antisocial behaviour and safeguard the public while identifying any associated vulnerability or safeguarding needs.

    Actioned 05 May 2026

  • Priority:

    ASB/Suspicious Activity -
    Pippin Close

    Issued 05 May 2026

    Action taken:

There have been multiple reports of ASB in the form of drug dealing, drug use, and harassment of school children around this area, mainly during school kick out time.

The local NH team are trying to work with the school and local residents to identify those involved and to solve the issue.

    Actioned 05 May 2026

  • Priority:

    Anti-Social Behaviour - Drug use/aggressive begging
    Pickford Gardens

    Issued 05 May 2026

    Action taken:

We are seeing increasing reports of homeless sleepers using bin sheds and causing ASB around Pickford gardens in the form of aggressive begging, drug use and drug dealing.

The Farnham/Baylis PCSO has taken ownership of the problem and will endeavour to work on it in the coming months with the help of local authorities and officers from the NH team.

    Actioned 05 May 2026
