About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

reports of youths causing ASB in abandoned farm buildings on Chillbridge Lane.

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

Increased patrols in this area have been ongoing. A small number of youths have been located around the area and their details were obtained. Parents/guardians also informed. Patrols will continue. Landowners have also been further updated and images of damage shared to highlight the concerns that the public have. It does appear that the site has been made more secure. Since our patrols, we have seen a decrease in calls to this location.

    Actioned 06 June 2026

  • Priority:

Parking issue surrounding school drop off and pick up in Beech Road, Milmoor Road and Hawthorn Road. Cars being parked in an inconsiderate manner.

    Issued 03 April 2026

    Action taken:

PC LEGGOTT from Eynsham Neighbourhood attended a joint meeting with Highways, council, local councillor and local primary school meeting at the beginning of the year to discuss this matter. As a result, Highways have installed further double yellow lines in the area which we hope will deter people from parking in these areas. We are in regular contact with the school and highways surrounding these issues and will continue to mointor.

    Actioned 06 June 2026

  • Priority:

youths being intimidating in and around Witney road and Merton Court/Close.

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

We will be completely high visibilty and regular patrols in the area to identify any persons involved in ASB. We will use powers to seize any e-bikes/e-scooters under S165 if applicable.

    Actioned 06 June 2026
