About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Car meets have been a concern for residents in Colnbrook and Poyle for some-time, however, last year reports were fewer. We believe now that car meets are still going on but are just not being reported by residents.

    Issued 11 June 2026

    Action taken:

PC BOYD and PCSO DIAZ have had a meeting with the anti-social behaviour tactical advisor and are currently identifying stakeholders for future meetings in relation to the Op Chromium car meets.

Officers believe that although reports are few, the car meets are still going on. The neighbourhood team understand it is frustrating reporting the car meets on each occasion and appreciate that residents may feel the Police are not doing anything, however, the team would like to reassure the public that there are things going on behind the scenes. Officers are in contact with Slough Borough Council and Highways regarding the matter.

    Actioned 11 June 2026

  • Priority:

Contravening the no through road on High Street, Colnbrook. This road is access only and vehicles are regularly using it as a cut through.

    Issued 11 June 2026

    Action taken:

This issue continues to be raised by local residents. Police will carry on issuing fixed penalty notices to anyone seen breaching the restrictions. PCSO Diaz is setting up an operation on the High Street to educate drivers who ignore the no‑through‑road signs, and PC Laver is continuing enforcement by ticketing road users who contravene the signage.

    Actioned 11 June 2026

  • Priority:

Youths are congregating, using stairwells, smoking drugs and causing anti-social behaviour in and around LINDEN and BYRON HOUSE, COMMON ROAD, LANGLEY.

    Issued 11 June 2026

    Action taken:

The neighbourhood team have been conducting targeted patrols in January to combat this issue. PC WALLACE is looking into the logistics around getting some form of Order for the communal areas.

Update: Anti-social behaviour surveys have been completed and residents spoken to, officers have continued to patrol the area and residents have stated the issue has got slightly better. The neighbourhood team will continue to monitor and encourage residents to report.

    Actioned 11 June 2026
