    Action taken:

    The Neighbourhood team will continue to patrol in vehicles and on foot across the Chipping Norton area. The team recently seized an e-scooter that was being ridden around the Cornish Road area in an anti-social manner, which will now be crushed.
    We will continue to look to stop vehicle being driven in an anti-social manner, these will be engaged with and dealt with robustly.

    As we enter the summer holidays, the team will patrol the area of Back Alley and engage with any persons seen. We continue to ask local residents to let us know if there are any specific area’s that you feel are affected by ASB and we will target out patrols in these locations.

    Stores within the town centre seeing increase in shop lifting

    Action taken:

    Throughout the month of July, the Neighbourhood team have been conducting high visibility patrols throughout the town centre, engaging with shop staffs. These reports have shown a decrease in shoplifting and anti-social behaviour through the town.
    We still encourage reporting of offences and we will look to take positive action and pursue the offenders.
    The Neighbourhood team are planning a day of action along side members of DISC app to encourage shops to report crimes and their understanding of the use of the DISC app, the date of this day of action is to be confirmed.

    Action taken:

    The Neighbourhood Team continue to patrol known areas for drug use and look to utilise our stop and search powers when appropriate grounds are present. If drugs around found, we will deal with offences robustly.
    We would encourage the community to report any activities which concern them either directly to officers on patrol, via 101 / webform or Crime Stoppers. We rely on intelligence to assist us in targeting our patrols in the areas of concerns and dealing with those who break the law.
