    Action taken:

We are still receiving excellent input from Sunbury residents on both drug use and drug dealing. It helps us know where we should concentrate our targeted activity and allows us to have a major effect on what might be taking place in your area. Please continue to help us by providing any information you might have, in terms of drug activities .

  • Priority:

    Shoplifting and acquisitive crime

    Issued 15 April 2026

    Action taken:

Shoplifting - In March, there was 1 incident of theft that has already resulted in a positive outcome, a Community Resolution has been issued to a first-time offender. Officers have completed foot patrols in the local area and engaged with local retailers, providing advice for crime prevention and visibility in the local area.
It has been identified that offenders linked to retail crime use the Articular Road Network through Sunbury, officers have been conducting regular stop checks in the local area and made proactive road traffic enquiries to stop offenders.

Acquisitive Crime - We have conducted high visibility foot patrols in hotspot areas for serious offences such as robbery and burglary, helping deter and prevent offending. Engagement with high harm offenders in the area has helped to disrupt any further offending, while robust enforcement has assisted in sending anyone who continues to offend to court to be dealt with.
