About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Continuing issues of anti-social behaviour (ASB), specifically fly tipping and groups of youths.

    Local officers are tackling anti-social behaviour by adopting a problem-solving approach to vulnerable locations. Working in collaboration with a range of partners we are getting to the root of problems and solve them for the long-term. Officers will be visible and engaging with the public to provide reassurance.

    Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour, in particular, neighbour disputes, is a priority for our local officers.

    Local officers are tackling anti-social behaviour by adopting a problem-solving approach to vulnerable locations and repeat locations. Working in collaboration with a range of statutory, non-statutory and 3rd sector partners, to get to the root of problems and solve them for the long-term.
