About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    We have had several complaints of boy racers in the area acting in an anti-social manner.

    Our officers are performing targeted patrols with our specialist road crime team to take positive action against those causing the issues.

  • Priority:

    Anti-social behaviour has been reported as an issue in this area involving electric scooters especially through the main paved areas, which is causing issues for other pedestrians and local residents. We will provide a high-visibility presence in the area and ask for support from our road crime team. PCSOs will also remind parents through the schools around the laws and dangers of these scooters.

    We are still receiving information and intelligence about the drugs in this area, significant positive action has been taken and several arrests made.

    County rural and proactive team have been supporting the local neighbourhood team to target individuals dealing drugs in this area. They have made arrests and the main subject is now awaiting sentencing.
