About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    Action taken:

    The issues have been raised with the council who have agreed to provide some signs and we will ensure these are deployed in the coming weeks. We will also be providing relevant contacts at the council to report any further incidents. We're have been speaking to communities in the area to further understand the detail of the 'Neighbour' issues that are being reported and if this is still a problem.

    Concerns have been raised for litter being left around Barlaston Downs. We have approached the council to support with bins and signs

    Increased reports of drugs been dealt and increased use of cannabis in Barlaston.

    We have seen an increase in reports of hare coursing in the rural areas, which appears to be a national trend. Officers from the County Pro Active and Rural team have been tasked to try and gather intelligence and take positive action against anyone believed to be committing offences.
