Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Nuisance vehicles at Herten triangle and the attraction of associated ASB with these vehicles and other individuals attending the area.

    Issued 06 January 2026

    Action taken:

We are having a number of conerns raised around careless and incosniderate drivers, causing ASB within the Herten triangle area of Doncaster. We are working in conjunction with our colleagues within Doncaster Council to address layout and access to these areas, along with dedicated actions around set times of the day when we believe these issues are occuring. Regular patrols are being carried out within the area and irresponsible drivers dealt with accordingly. Our patrols are reflective of the information provided by the community and are focused on education and subsequent action towards those intent on causing issues within our localities. Should you have any further information please report to SYP or Doncaster Council.

    Actioned 08 April 2026

  • Priority:

The feelings and perceptions of saftey within the City are still factors raised within our regular meetings with our community. Regular feedback and information from the public helps to form our work and set our priorites within the City.

    Issued 07 January 2026

    Action taken:

We continue with dedicated patrols and engagement events within the CIty. Please come and speak with us, explain issues and report incidents so that we can continue working together to improve the feelings of safety within our City. Consultation around the renewal of the PSPO is currently open and awaiting suggestions around its use.

    Actioned 08 April 2026

  • Priority:

A combination of information from CEM, engagement events and crime figures has shown an increase in ASB and drug related criminality within Hexthorpe. The behaviours of a small number of individuals having a wider impact on the community and the necessity to come to together, working as a community to target the behaviour, educate those involved and take appropriate action where required.

    Issued 08 April 2026

    Action taken:

A mutli partnership approach to issues of ASB and criminality have been underway for several months within Hexthorpe, however working with the communtiy we have built on our thoughts and brought together targeted activities based upon the infomration and intelligence provided by the community that both live and work in the area. Regular visible patrols, weekly drop in events, monthly CEM, schools engagement days, alongside direct Days of Action are having a positive impact on the community. We continue to monitor and adapt our working within the area, to ensure we meet the needs of our community and listen to their views. Please continue to report incidents and information through 101, online or via CrimeStoppers.
