We remain focussed on reducing ASB in the city centre , officers continue to tackle antisocial behaviour across the district in partnership with stakeholders and agencies.

Youth Justice Intervention and ASB Prevention - North Wales Police continues to strengthen early intervention activity in Wrexham City through a dedicated PCSO resource at Youth Justice. The role focuses specifically on ASB related issues and emerging youth related demand, working proactively alongside Youth Justice Service staff within the community. This joint approach enables effective diversion opportunities, targeted engagement with at risk young people, and improved information sharing to prevent escalation

Op Lex – Nighttime Economy - increasing high visibility patrols on Friday and Saturday nights to support the night time economy. This enhanced presence helps prevent disorder, safeguard vulnerable individuals, and provide reassurance to residents, workers, and visitors.

Licensing Partnership with Wrexham Council - Neighbourhood officers maintain a strong collaborative relationship with Wrexham Council Licensing, conducting regular licensing checks within the city centre’s nighttime economy. These visits ensure compliance, raise standards of safety, and address concerns early by supporting both premises’ staff and the wider community.
