    Theft of and from Motor Vehicles

    Action taken:

    Officers will be deployed to areas of hotspot / reported areas to speak to residents about vehicle security and recommend "Secured by Design" website for additional security features to making their vehicle more secure and less attractive to be stolen.
    Education around spikes in certain vehicles and tactics used by offenders to highlight the importance around security.
    High Visibility patrols during offending times where required.

    Officers will continue to complete targeted patrols of hotspot areas to act as visible deterrent to burglaries.
    Officers will be deployed to speak to residents about enhancing security features to their home addresses and businesses to support reducing the risk of burglaries.
    We will work in partnership with internal investigation teams to support the identification of offenders and share information where possible to support local residents.
