    Issued 31 May 2026

    Action taken:

Reducing anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity is a key priority for your local policing team in East Acton. We recognise the impact these issues have on residents’ safety, wellbeing, and quality of life, and we are committed to taking strong, visible action.

Increased patrols: Officers are carrying out regular, high-visibility patrols in parks and open spaces to deter offences and provide reassurance.
Taking action on dangerous dogs: We are identifying and dealing with owners who fail to control their dogs, using enforcement powers where necessary.
Working with partners: We are working alongside the local council and animal welfare services to respond effectively and promote responsible dog ownership.
Engaging with the public: Officers are speaking with park users and dog owners to raise awareness of the law and encourage safe behaviour.
