    Retail theft remain a concern for the beat

    Action taken:

    The team have been conducting Hi-Vis patrols across a number of stores, providing reassurance to staff and deterring shop theft.

    A female has been arrested and Charged for 15 incidences of Theft Stores, 2 Attempt Theft Stores, Possession of Cannabis and 10 Breaches of her Criminal Behaviour Order.

    A male has also been arrested and Charged in relation to Theft Stores and assault

    ASB - Feedback from residents shows that Anti-Social Behaviour involving the use of off-road motorcycles across the area is a priority concern for residents.

    Hi-visibility patrols are continuing in areas of Shepshed following reports of off-road bikes being ridden. With focus around the areas of Glenmore Park and Oakley Park

    The Beat Team have been conducting leaflet drops across the beat, appealing for further information in relation to possible drug related activity at a number of addresses,

    We have also supported Amplius housing with the eviction of tenants in Goldcrest Shepshed, following the execution of a drugs warrant at the property.

    In addition, we have also secured evidence in connection with a closure order which will be utilised by partner agency’s to impose further intervention.
