About us

    Action taken:

    PC Taylor has continued to tackle antisocial behaviour in the Viking Bay area through high-visibility patrols and targeted enforcement activity. Working with partner agencies and local colleagues, he has taken action to address concerns raised by residents, businesses and visitors.

    Where necessary, dispersal powers have been used to direct people to leave an area when their behaviour is causing, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress. Officers have also seized alcohol where appropriate to help prevent alcohol-related nuisance and disorder. This proactive approach has helped improve safety and reduce antisocial behaviour in the area, with residents reporting that Viking Bay feels safer and more welcoming. PC Taylor remains committed to maintaining this progress and responding to concerns raised by the community.

    Action taken:

    PC Taylor continues to tackle concerns about the illegal use of e-scooters and e-bikes in the Viking Bay area. Through regular high-visibility patrols, he works to identify riders who are breaking the law, engage with the community and take enforcement action where offences are identified. These patrols help improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists and other road users, while responding to concerns raised by residents. PC Taylor remains committed to reducing unlawful vehicle use and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who lives in, works in or visits the area.
