    Nuisance vehicles (e-scooters and motorbikes).

    Action taken:

    Following concerns about nuisance e-scooter and e-bike use, officers have carried out targeted patrols across the area to address the issue. This proactive activity has resulted in a number of illegally used e-scooters and e-bikes being seized, helping to reduce antisocial behaviour and improve public safety.

    On 6 June 2026, a joint operation involving the Roads Policing Unit and Immigration Enforcement took place in Gravesend town centre and surrounding areas, including Perry Street. High-visibility patrols were carried out, leading to a number of vehicle stops and further e-scooter seizures for offences relating to illegal use.

    Officers will continue to carry out targeted enforcement activity and proactive patrols to tackle nuisance vehicles, improve road safety and help keep public spaces safe for everyone.

    Drug dealing.

    Action taken:

    In response to concerns about suspected drug dealing and related activity, officers have continued to carry out regular high-visibility patrols and targeted enforcement across the area. Officers have also engaged with residents and used stop and search powers where lawful grounds exist. A stop and search is a legal power that allows officers to search people for items linked to criminal activity, including illegal drugs.

    These actions help disrupt drug-related offending, deter those involved and provide reassurance to the local community. We will continue to carry out intelligence-led patrols, act on information provided by residents and take enforcement action where offences are identified to help keep the area safe.

    Antisocial behaviour.

    Action taken:

    In response to ongoing concerns around antisocial behaviour within the ward, officers have identified a number of repeat offenders responsible for causing disruption to the community. Working with partner agencies, a range of measures have been used to address this behaviour and prevent further incidents.

    A total of 8 Acceptable Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) have been issued, alongside a number of Community Protection Warnings (CPWs). These measures set clear expectations for behaviour and provide a framework for further enforcement if problems continue. In some cases, conditions have been imposed preventing individuals from entering Gravesend town centre, helping to address issues in areas most affected by antisocial behaviour.

    These actions are already helping to reduce incidents and improve the environment for residents, businesses and visitors. Officers will continue to monitor those involved, carry out regular patrols and take further action where necessary to help keep the community safe and welcoming.
