About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

    Road safety.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to address road safety concerns through targeted patrols and enforcement activity within the ward. Speed detection equipment has been used at locations identified through community concerns, including Childsbridge Lane between Kemsing and Seal, helping officers identify speeding drivers and promote safer driving standards. Further speed enforcement activity is planned over the coming months, alongside additional checks at varying times and locations.

    Residents are encouraged to report dangerous, antisocial or inconsiderate driving, as information from the community helps officers identify problem locations and direct patrols where they are needed most. Through ongoing enforcement, visibility patrols and community engagement, officers continue to work to improve road safety and reduce offending on local roads.

    Vehicle crime.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to address vehicle crime through proactive patrols, investigations and community engagement. Although vehicle crime reports remain relatively low, officers work closely with residents to identify suspicious activity, gather intelligence and prevent further offences. Reports from the community are reviewed and investigated where appropriate, helping officers identify offenders and take positive action. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour as soon as possible, as timely reporting can provide valuable opportunities to prevent crime, secure evidence and support ongoing enquiries. Through ongoing patrols and crime prevention activity, officers continue to work to reduce vehicle crime and keep local communities safe.

    Nuisance antisocial behaviour.

    Action taken:

    Officers continue to monitor antisocial behaviour across the ward through regular patrols, community engagement and partnership working. Although reports of antisocial behaviour have remained low during this reporting period, officers continue to maintain a visible presence, respond to concerns raised by residents and take action where necessary. This priority will be reviewed to ensure it continues to reflect the issues that matter most to the local community. Residents are encouraged to keep reporting incidents and concerns, as information from the public helps officers identify emerging issues, direct resources effectively and take positive action where needed.
