About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Nuisance bikes in Isted Rise playing fields.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

Officers have maintained a visible presence in the area to deter nuisance bike activity and respond to concerns raised by residents. We have also contacted the local authority to explore measures that could help make the area less accessible to nuisance riders and reduce opportunities for offending.

Where offenders are identified, their vehicles may be seized and a Community Protection Warning (CPW) issued. A CPW is a formal warning designed to stop behaviour that has a negative impact on the local community. Officers will continue to patrol the area and take action against those responsible for nuisance bike activity.

    Actioned 03 July 2026

  • Priority:

    Nuisance bikes using Cobham Hall.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

Nuisance bikes in this area, as well as the nearby golf course and Park Pale, remain a well-known concern. Officers have maintained a visible presence in these locations to deter offending and provide reassurance to residents. We have also been working closely with the local authority and other partner agencies to explore further measures and targeted operations aimed at reducing nuisance bike activity. This issue remains a priority, and officers will continue to patrol hotspot areas and take action where offenders are identified.

    Actioned 03 July 2026

  • Priority:

    Nuisance youths in Cobham.

    Issued 21 April 2026

    Action taken:

Police have maintained a visible presence in the area to help deter antisocial behaviour and provide reassurance to local residents. Encouragingly, there have been no reports relating to nuisance youths in the past month. Officers will continue to carry out regular patrols, particularly as we move into the summer holidays and warmer months when demand and activity can increase. We encourage residents to continue reporting any concerns so that patrols can be targeted effectively and issues addressed at an early stage.

    Actioned 03 July 2026
