About us

    PC Albers has been working closely with local businesses, residents and the wider community to gather information about drug-related activity in the area. Information provided by the public helps build a better understanding of local issues and is shared with specialist teams and local officers so that appropriate action can be taken. This may include targeted patrols, stop and search activity and other enforcement measures where there are grounds to do so.

    Information from the public is vital in helping police tackle drug use, dealing and supply. Residents are encouraged to report any concerns or information they may have by calling us or through the Kent Police website. Reports from the community help officers identify those responsible and take action to reduce the harm caused by drugs.

    PC Albers has responded to a number of reports relating to nuisance vehicles, including dirt bikes and mopeds being ridden in a way that causes nuisance or concern to the community. Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible, and appropriate action will be taken where offences are identified. Recent changes in legislation have strengthened police powers to seize nuisance vehicles, meaning officers may be able to take action without first issuing a warning in certain circumstances. Information from the public is essential in helping police tackle this issue. Residents are encouraged to report nuisance vehicles, locations where they are being used and any identifying details by calling us or through the Kent Police website.

    PC Albers has responded to a number of reports relating to nuisance vehicles, including dirt bikes and mopeds being ridden in an antisocial manner. Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible, and appropriate action will be taken where offences are identified. Plans are also being developed for a local road safety day, which will involve speed checks and vehicle safety checks being carried out with support from partner officers. The outcomes of this activity will be shared with the community once available. Recent changes in legislation have strengthened police powers to seize nuisance vehicles, meaning officers may be able to take action without first issuing a warning in certain circumstances. Information from the public is essential in helping police tackle this issue. Residents are encouraged to report nuisance vehicles, locations where they are being used and any identifying details by calling us or through the Kent Police website.
