About us

    Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

    Action taken:

    Antisocial behaviour remains a priority for local officers, who continue to carry out targeted patrols and proactive operations in areas where concerns have been raised. Officers respond to reports from residents, gather information from the community and take action where offences are identified. High-visibility patrols help deter antisocial behaviour, provide reassurance and improve community safety. Officers also work closely with local schools to raise awareness of the impact of antisocial behaviour and encourage positive choices among young people. By working with schools, parents, partner organisations and residents, officers aim to prevent problems before they occur and reduce the impact of antisocial behaviour on the community. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns so that resources can be directed to the areas where they are most needed.

    Nuisance motorcycles.

    Action taken:

    Nuisance motorcycles remain a concern for local residents, and officers continue to carry out targeted patrols in areas where problems have been reported. Both high-visibility and proactive patrols are used to deter antisocial behaviour, identify those responsible and gather information that can support enforcement action. Officers also maintain a presence in locations where nuisance motorcycle use has been reported to help prevent further incidents, provide reassurance to the community and improve public safety. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns, as information from the public helps officers identify offenders and focus patrols on the areas most affected.

    Road safety issues.

    Action taken:

    Local officers continue to address road safety concerns through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Regular vehicle checks have been carried out to identify offences and improve safety for all road users, resulting in several uninsured vehicles being seized and removed from the road. Officers have also taken action against the illegal use of e-scooters, including seizing devices being used unlawfully on roads and pavements. Alongside enforcement activity, officers continue to patrol the area, engage with residents and respond to concerns about speeding, dangerous driving and antisocial use of vehicles. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting road safety issues so that patrols and enforcement can be targeted where they are needed most.
