About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Drug supply and Use

    Issued 07 March 2026

    Action taken:

    Drugs

We have received intelligence around addresses within the ward area which may be linked to drugs.

We are fully aware that the activities of those involved in the supply of controlled drugs offences can have a severe effect on communities through the creation of crime and anti-social behaviour hotspots.

The long term effect of these activities can result in a decline in your community.

We are determined to prevent such deterioration and would ask you to support us in this effort by continuing to supply information to the police on any suspected criminal activity or any anti-social behaviour and we will act where it is possible, as we have on this occasion.

To help us take action we need your help so please call us on 101 if you have any information about those involved in drug dealing.

If you prefer you can ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 (you may be eligible for a cash reward).

Make a difference in your community – help us to help you!

We are looking into this and should there be enough intelligence gathered, we will be executing warrants and making arrests.
