About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

    Speed enforcement in rural villages

    Issued 02 May 2026

    Action taken:

We have completed multiple Speed Enforcement events throughout last year and as a result multiple drivers have been dealt with. This is an ongoing project. Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to work with Parish Councils and ERYC Traffic Management, with the aim of changing the behaviour of some road users who drive above the speed limit through our villages.

    Actioned 02 May 2026

  • Priority:

    Humber Talking

    Issued 02 May 2026

    Action taken:

Humber Talking continues and we will be speaking with householders on their doorstep however if you would rather participate online and highlight any issues you think the Police should be dealing with, please visit the website - www.mycommunityalert.co.uk/humbertalking

Your responses help us better understand our area and prioritise issues to be tackled.

    Actioned 02 May 2026

  • Priority:

    School Parking Issues

    Issued 02 May 2026

    Action taken:

Parking on yellow lines / zig-zag markings outside schools is a potentially dangerous practice which also causes congestion. We continue to work in conjunction with Headteachers and their staff, as well as ERYC Road Safety officers to address the issue.
