About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Policing priorities

    Serious Acquisitive Crime Offences/Traffic Offences (Isle wide but focus is on South and Central) particularly into vehicles of interest relating to burglary.

    We have recently seen an increase in burglaries in the Isle area, the majority relating to the theft of vehicles from addresses with keys. Please ensure doors are locked, alarms are set and keys are kept in a safe location in your address.

    Please report any suspicious activity to the Police.

    There will be increased Police patrolling in the area overnight.

    To incorporate stop/check of vehicles and tickets issued for any offences identified.

    To offer Crime prevention advice and home visits to victims of domestic burglary/Hanoi

    Enforcement patrols in the area.

    Regular social media posts in relation to speeding in and around the Isle and HGVs using WESTGATE ROAD, BELTON.

    Joint working with neighbouring forces.

    Crime prevention stock delivered to Epworth Police Station and these will be made into crime prevention packs for victims of burglary

    Action taken:

    We have been working with our partners and working alongside the Rural Task Force and the local farm watch group and building our intelligence on relevant vehicles and persons.

    We coordinate our response to poaching / wildlife related crimes through live time intelligence from farm watch group.

    Your local PCSO's have been making contact with all Farms, obtaining contact details and signing up for My Community Alert.

    Regular High Visibility mobile patrols and foot patrols are conducted regularly in your area.

    Your Neighbourhood Policing Team are based at Epworth Police Station.
