    Issues with speeding on Seaton Lane and Stockton road

    Action taken:

    Community Speedwatch has been utilised in the area by local PCSO’s – during which several vehicles were found to be in excess of the speed limit. These are carried out on a regular basis

    This information obtained by NPT has been fed into the enforcement team who have recently been in the area and provided the following results -
    B1404 Seaton Lane, Seaham

    During the 5 visits to the site I would advise that 21 drivers triggered the safety cameras:

    0 drivers fell within our Process Level (Court action)
    3 drivers fell within our Conditional offer level (fine and points)
    18 drivers fell within our Speed Awareness Course level

    Issues with off road bike related nuisance around Northlea and Seaton

    Action taken:

    High Visibility patrols in the area are being conducted, along with the use of the drone to identify the bikes and their riders
    .

    23/11/2025 - 2 off road bikes have been seized by our DRAP team on Seaton Lane.
