About us

About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

Anti-Social Behaviour – OFF ROAD BIKES

    Issued 11 May 2025

    Action taken:

Regular high visibility patrols are conducted in the area. This area is protected by Section 59 of the Police Reform Act which allows officers to seize any vehicle being used in a manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance. A joint operation with our Motorcycle Section is planned for the near future.
Efforts are being made to try and identify where the offending bikes are being housed.

  • Priority:

    Anti-social behaviour at Dalton Park

    Issued 11 May 2025

    Action taken:

Regular high visibility patrols have been conducted in this area with local businesses visited and liaised with. Youths acting in an anti-social manner are now on the ASB escalation ladder which results in letters and visits to their parents. x1 youth is to be placed on an anti-social behaviour contract. We have also assisted Dalton Park in issuing banning orders.
