About us

    Youth Related ASB in Crook Town Centre. This has been raised by local residents and by retailers effected including ALDI and ASDA. Incidents have also occurred in Glenholm Park. The behaviour of some young people is detrimental to local business and quality of life for the community.

    Action taken:

    Ongoing proactive high visibility patrols have been conducted during relevant times and days in all the hotspot locations. Officers are working closely retail staff and managers to target harden premises to prevent entry and improve evidence gathering or reduce opportunity for offenders to go undetected. Over the past 2 months several repeat perpetrators have been identified and meetings held with partners including Durham County Council ASB officers, housing providers and schools to tackle causes of Anti-Social Behaviour and reduce overall incidents.

    Off Road Bikes Glenholme Park, Hope, Crook Town and surrounding areas.

    Issued 08 April 2025

    Action taken:

    Arrest of male following incident in Glenholme Park involving an off road bike. High Visibility patrols by PCSO's in hot spot locations and muti agency problem solving ongoing with land owners and housing providers. Seizure notices have been placed in repeat locations including Glenholme Park and the Watergate Estate.
