    Issue:
    Drug and associated criminality, leading to members of the public and local community feeling unsafe.

    Planned action to tackle this issue:
    • Multi-agency work as part of a holistic response
    • Neighbourhood officers will regularly patrol the area and deal with offenders robustly

    September Update:
    • Regular hot-spot policing patrols on Charminster Rd.
    • Hi visibility patrols and resident engagement in Chelsea Gardens, Cyril Park and Iddesleigh Road.
    • Large amount of drugs removed from a local address with a male assisting Police with enquiries.

    August Update:
    • Community meeting held providing local residents with policing updates and a face to face Q&A session
    • Regular hot spot policing patrols on Charminster Rd
    • Hi visibility patrols and resident engagement in Chelsea Gardens and Cyril Park

    July Update:
    This is a new priority however we have already completed the following actions.
    • Search Warrant in Charminster targeting drug supply.
    • Regular Hot Spot policing patrols in Charminster Rd.

    In the vicinity of Lidl Winton High Street.

    Issue:
    Shoplifting offenders and beggars causing alarm to members of the public

    Planned action to tackle this issue:
    • Neighbourhood officers will regularly patrol the area and deal with offenders robustly
    • The Neighbourhood Policing Team will work closely with the local authority’s anti-social behaviour team regarding enforcement

    September Update:
    • Regular hot-spot policing patrols in Wimborne Rd..
    • Well attended Community Contact Point held at Waitrose providing residents updates.
    • Working closely with partner agencies to resolve ongoing beggars in the area.

    August Update:
    • Plain clothed police officer patrols to tackle prolific shoplifting offenders
    • Multi-agency meeting to address rough sleeping on Wimborne Rd
    • Regular Hot Spot policing patrols in Wimborne Rd

    July Update:
    This is a new priority however we have already completed the following actions.
    • Partial closure order granted in local property which will prevent offenders using the property and causing anti-social behaviour.
    • Regular Hot Spot policing patrols in Wimborne Rd.
    • Neighbourhood policing assisting retail crime team to bring shoplifting offenders to justice.
