About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Follow up reports by residents. Carry out OP Vocal. Liaise with Housing Provider re Tenancy Action.

    Warrants carried out within ERNESETTLE working closely with other Police departments. Leading to positive results.

    09/05/2026. Local Neighbourhood Team continue to respond to reports from residents and work closely with Housing Providers to address concerns over drug use and supply.

    Follow up on reports and carry out Proactive Patrols to Target Offenders.

    Foot patrols with the neighbourhood support team within ERNESETTLE green/shops. Reassurance patrols.

    Proactive Patrols throughout Ernesettle. Responding to reports of ASB. Number of youths and parents spoken to following reports of ASB in HAWKINGE GARDENS. Continued liaison with staff at CO OP and local shops no issues raised.

    09/05/2026. Concerns have been raised that the ASB which was previously reported around the shops on Hornchurch Road has now moved to the area of WEST MALLING AVENUE where the youth Club at ST AIDANS Church is being held. The Local Policing Team are in consultation with local residents and WESTWARD Housing to address the issue.
