About us

Local policing teams are groups of officers dedicated to serving the community. Teams are made up of officers based in the area, supported by additional officers from the wider area. 

Teams work closely with local authorities, organisations, partners and residents to decide policing priorities. This helps teams find long-term solutions to local problems.

    Action taken:

    1) Targeted Enforcement: Work with Roads Policing Teams and specialist units to identify and take enforcement action against offenders. Community Engagement: Liaise with local residents and landowners to gather intelligence and address concerns. Promote reporting to Appropriate Agency Derbyshire Dales District Council Environmental Health and Derbyshire Constabulary’s online reporting tools. Partnership Working: Collaborate with local councils, landowners, and partner agencies to explore preventative measures (e.g., barriers, signage). Intelligence-Led Approach: Monitor reports and review crime trends to identify peak times and repeat offenders. Share updates with the community to maintain transparency and reassurance.
    2) Youth related Antisocial Behaviour and Crime around Hall Leys Park area High Visibility patrols and engagements across the areas. A mixture of high visibility and plain clothes patrols in hot spot locations. Work with the community and partner agencies to identify offenders. Regularly review crime trend information and intelligence to identify hot spot locations and potential suspects. Enforcement of Police and Partners ASB Powers and legislation Local Authority to consider diversionary activities and enforcement teams to Enforce PSPO
