Policing priorities

  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

Off road bikes in and around South Bank, Grangetown and Eston

    Issued 04 March 2025

    Action taken:

The local teams have and will continue to focus on prevention, identification and the arrest of persons using off road bikes. We are using the tools available to us to carry out our mission to disrupt the minority of individuals who choose to continue to disrupt the community.
We are running specific operations that target these individuals. Within the last 3 months we have ran 9 operations specifically targeting off road bikes. We have used the intelligence you provide to help us identify individuals and locations where we have been able to seize 7 off road bikes from individuals within the community with investigations ongoing and many charged with further charges likely. We are working closely with partners to achieve evidence to support civil orders such as criminal behaviour orders to use against those who use off road bikes with a total of 3 issued. The bikes seized from individuals have been destroyed meaning behaviour. We will continue to work with partners to highlight the consequences of their actions and the impact this could have on their residential status within the community to deter their mission of causing disruption.
This has only been achievable through your information as a community, and we will be continuing to patrol these areas and act on your intelligence with regards to where the ASB/drug dealing is occurring. We have targeted this around specific individuals and applied for and likely to achieve a further criminal behaviour order for an individual who is causing anti-social behaviour within the community.

    Actioned 27 May 2025

  • Priority:

Antisocial behaviour and drug dealing/taking in South Bank

    Issued 04 March 2025
