Antisocial behaviour may be something the police can help with but it might be a council matter.
What to contact the council about
You need to contact the council if it's about these things:
- graffiti
- fly-posting
- rubbish or litter (including needles, syringes, foils or other drug material)
- dog mess
- noise or noisy neighbours
- pollution or issues with pests or food
- damage to public 'street furniture' like bus shelters or bins
- someone parking in your 'on street' or designated parking space or blocking your driveway
Find out which council is responsible for a location
What to contact the police about
- an animal behaving aggressively, or being used illegally (eg fighting)
- if you've found drugs or have information about drug dealing
- vandalism or damage to private property
- someone being indecent, threatening or offensive
- abandoned or stolen vehicles
- someone parking in your driveway or stopping you from being able to get off your own property
- speeding or dangerous driving
