Inspector Callie Bradley

I am the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) Inspector for rural Herefordshire and the Market towns.

I have been with West Mercia Police since 1997. Starting at Hereford and then moving to Leominster. I was then posted to the rank of Sergeant on response at Hereford before taking up the role of Detective Sergeant in child protection, where I remained for a number of years, moving on to domestic abuse investigations, and those involving vulnerable adults. I have then been promoted to Detective Inspector and worked for 2 years at West Mercia Headquarters heading up the strategic role for improving investigations and responses to rape victims. I worked with numerous agencies and individuals to purchase, renovate and open a top standard rape suite near Worcester, which now serves hundreds of victims every year. I returned to policing at Hereford, and in the last 4 years (except for 1 year in the middle as a detective inspector again) I have managed 24 hour response teams covering the county, South Shropshire and West Worcestershire.

For the last 2 years I have held the victim satisfaction portfolio for Herefordshire, and work with colleagues and officers across West Mercia and Warwickshire to improve the relationship between victims of crime and the police.

I am passionate about serving the public and believe that building good relationships is key to that success. I look forward to the new challenge I have been set, to support the SNT's across rural Herefordshire.
