I'm Darren Webster and I am responsible for Local Policing in Redditch and I joined the team in April 2015. I have 17 years policing experience mainly working in Warwickshire, my move to North Worcestershire is part of the West Mercia, Warwickshire Police alliance programme and I look forward to the exciting opportunity and challenges ahead.

During my career, I have previously worked in Neighbourhood policing as a PC and a Sergeant, been part a proactive unit targeting drug dealing and burglary and managed 24/7 response policing teams for a number of years dealing with emergency incidents. I also have some specialist skills in Public Order policing and CBRN, which have given me a wide experience of policing and allowed me to see other police forces across the UK.

Leading the Redditch Neighbourhood teams I look forward to working with local partners to tackle issues for the local community, targeting crime and antisocial behaviour and those who cause the most harm.

Its important that your Local Neighbourhood teams listen to local concerns and use information from local people to understand and support the residents and visitors to Redditch to provide policing for the local community.
