Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities in this neighbourhood.

Priority

Priority 1. Lowering the speed of traffic in the Headless Cross area.

Priority 2. Preventing anti-social behaviour in the Paddock Lane area of Oakenshaw.

Priority 3. Preventing dangerous and anti-social Driving in Oakenshaw.

Action taken

Priority 1. Speed exercises have been carried out in Headless Cross including Birchfield Road and Evesham Road.

Priority 2. Daily patrols have been conducted and groups of youths gathering in the area have been advised of the issues by officers.

Priority 3. High visibility patrols have continued in the Clews Road and Coldfield Drive area of Oakenshaw. Groups of drivers congregating in car parks have been approached by officers and advised of the issues in the area.

Priority 1. Speed reduction initiatives have took place in the Headless Cross Area in April.

Priority 2. Officers have been patrolling the A441/Coldfield Drive Area of Oakenshaw including the car parks of Tesco Supermarket and those surrounding Clews Road.

Priority 1. Reduce Anti-Social Behaviour in the Paddock Lane and Lineholt Close areas of Oakenshaw.

Priority 2. Raise awareness of home safety preventing burglaries in Oakenshaw.

Priority 1. ASB Patrols have taken place in the Oakenshaw South area and SNT will maintain a presence in relation to this.

Priority 2. Headless Cross and Oakenshaw SNT held a home safety and security event on 20th March in the company of Hereford and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Service and Redditch Borough Council Community Safety Partnership.
