Consultation with the community has identified the following priorities in this neighbourhood.


There has been an increase in vehicle crime.

  • Theft of catalytic convertors
  • Theft from vehicles
  • Damage to vehicles

To patrol hotspot areas including the use of marked and plain Police cars.

Liaising with Upton Town Council.

Distributing leaflets to local shops for residents to use.

'STOP all valuables have been removed' cards will be made available in local stores for drivers to put on their dashboards.

Regular updates via twitter @MalvernCops and CMS (Community Messaging Service) will be carried out.

Upton Safer Neighbourhood team to continue with patrols and engagements with users of the play park.

Engagement with Upton Town Council and report issues to them in a timely manner.

Respond and follow up reports of damage and antisocial behaviour.

The use of twitter using @MalvernCops to let the community know when we have carried out patrols.
